Frequently Asked Questions
Answers to the questions we hear most from buyers, brokers, and resellers.
Getting Started
Who are NPP's typical buyers?
We work primarily with online resellers — Amazon FBA sellers, Walmart WFS sellers, eBay sellers — along with brick-and-mortar retailers, exporters, and other wholesalers looking for closeout and overstock inventory. We work with both new buyers placing their first order and established operators managing multi-pallet monthly volume.
How do I become a buyer?
The fastest way to start is to contact us with the categories and price points you're focused on. We can match you to current deals quickly. You can also browse our live catalog directly to see what's available and submit invoice requests for specific products.
What is your minimum order quantity?
Minimum order quantities vary by deal. Some lots can be purchased by the case (12–24 units), while others are pallet-based. Contact us with what you're looking for and we'll work with you to find inventory that fits your volume needs and capital.
Do I need a resale certificate or business license to buy from NPP?
Most of our buyers operate as registered businesses or sellers, and a resale certificate helps avoid sales tax on wholesale purchases in applicable states. That said, we work with buyers at different stages — if you're just getting started and don't have documentation in place yet, reach out and we'll let you know what's needed for your situation.
Do you work with international buyers?
Yes, we work with exporters and international buyers in addition to U.S.-based resellers. Shipping internationally typically involves freight forwarders or export logistics partners on your end, since our network ships within the domestic supplier footprint. Contact us to discuss specifics for your destination.
Is there a cost or commitment to join your buyer list or get access to the live catalog?
No. Browsing our live catalog and reaching out about available inventory is free, with no signup fees or purchase commitment. You only pay for the inventory you choose to order.
Inventory & Sourcing
What product categories do you carry?
We source across all major categories including Health, Beauty & Wellness, Pet Supplies, Electronics, Tools, Toys & Collectibles, Baby Products, PPE & Safety, Office Supplies, Outdoor & Garden, Apparel, Home & Kitchen, Sports, Video Games, Seasonal Goods, and General Merchandise. Inventory varies by week — browse our live catalog to see what's currently available.
How is NPP different from buying liquidation pallets on sites like B-Stock or Liquidation.com?
Those platforms typically sell pallets through blind or semi-blind auctions, with limited manifest detail and a mix of new, returned, and damaged inventory in the same lot. NPP operates as a broker with direct supplier relationships, which means we can usually tell you what's actually in a lot — brand, condition, and quantity — before you commit to buying it. You're sourcing with more certainty, not bidding on a mystery.
What condition is the inventory in?
This varies by lot and is specified upfront for each deal — most of what we source is new, overstock, or closeout inventory rather than customer returns. Condition, manifest details, and any relevant grading are provided before you commit to a purchase, so you know exactly what you're buying.
Can I see a manifest before I buy?
Yes. Because we operate as a broker working directly with supplier warehouses, we can provide manifest detail — brand, SKU, quantity, and condition — for most lots before you purchase. This is part of how we keep sourcing predictable instead of a blind-buy situation.
Can I request specific brands or products instead of browsing what's available?
Yes. While our live catalog reflects current available lots, you can tell us the brands, categories, or specific products you're trying to source, and we'll watch for matching deals as they come through our supplier network. This is especially useful for sellers trying to build a consistent catalog around particular SKUs.
Do you offer samples before a bulk purchase?
We don't offer standalone sample orders. However, many of our deals carry a low minimum order quantity, which gives you a practical way to test a product on a smaller scale — by the case rather than the full pallet or lot — before deciding whether to reorder at higher volume. Ask your account contact which available deals have lower MOQs if you're looking to test a product before committing further.
Where is your inventory located?
NPP works with a network of supplier warehouses across the United States. When you place an order, we coordinate with the warehouse holding that specific lot — most orders ship from the East Coast, Midwest, or West Coast depending on the source. Lead times and shipping origins are confirmed at order time.
Can I get the same product restocked regularly?
In some cases, yes. While closeout and liquidation inventory is often one-time by nature, we work with manufacturers and retailers who have recurring overstock in certain categories. If consistent reorder availability matters for your sourcing plan, let us know which SKUs or categories you're trying to build around and we'll flag recurring opportunities as they come up.
Will my inventory be restricted or gated on Amazon or Walmart?
Some brands require seller-specific approval (commonly called ungating) before you can list certain products, regardless of where the inventory was sourced. We provide proper wholesale invoices that meet standard marketplace documentation requirements, but we can't guarantee ungating approval for brand-gated categories, since that authorization typically comes from the brand or platform directly. We're happy to flag known restricted categories before you commit to a purchase.
What happens if I have a problem with a specific brand's authenticity requirements after purchase?
All inventory sourced through NPP is authentic — we do not deal in counterfeit, gray-market, or unauthorized goods. That said, if a marketplace flags an item for its own authenticity verification process after you've listed it, our wholesale invoice can typically be submitted as supporting documentation. Brand-specific or marketplace-specific authenticity reviews are decided by the platform or brand, not by NPP, so we can't guarantee a resolution — but we'll provide whatever documentation we have for your order to support your case.
How do I know if a deal is a good fit before I buy?
We analyze sourced lots for sales velocity and profit margin before listing them, but the right fit ultimately depends on your specific sales channels, price points, and existing catalog. Your account contact can talk through sell-through expectations for a given category or lot based on what we're seeing from other buyers, but the purchase decision and margin risk is yours to evaluate.
Do prices fluctuate, and how do I know I'm getting a competitive rate?
Wholesale and closeout pricing shifts with supply, season, and category demand, so prices on our live catalog reflect current market conditions rather than a fixed price list. If you're a regular buyer, your account contact can flag pricing trends in categories you care about so you're not caught off guard by normal fluctuation.
Orders, Payment & Logistics
Do you ship directly to Amazon FBA or Walmart WFS warehouses?
Yes. We routinely ship directly to Amazon FBA, Walmart WFS, and other 3PL warehouses on your behalf. You provide your shipping labels, we forward them to the warehouse holding your inventory, and the order ships directly to your destination — no need for you to receive and re-ship.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept Wire Transfer and ACH Transfer directly. For credit card payments, customers can use Melio (a third-party service that converts credit card payments to ACH transfers). Payment is collected before inventory ships.
Do you offer net terms or payment plans?
No. We collect payment in full before purchasing inventory from our suppliers. This protects everyone involved and keeps our pricing competitive.
Do you provide invoices for my Amazon supply chain documentation?
Yes. We provide proper wholesale invoices for every order. While we cannot guarantee outcomes for brand-specific ungating applications (Amazon ungating often requires authorization directly from the brand owner), our invoices serve as legitimate supply chain documentation that meets Amazon's standard invoice requirements.
Can I combine multiple categories or lots into a single shipment?
In many cases, yes, particularly when lots are sourced from the same supplier warehouse. Combining shipments can reduce freight costs on multi-pallet orders. Let your account contact know if you're ordering across categories so we can check what can be consolidated.
What's your returns or claims policy if something arrives wrong?
Since inventory ships directly from the supplier warehouse to your destination, it's important to flag any discrepancy between the manifest and what arrives as soon as possible after receiving. Reach out to your account contact right away with documentation (photos, packing list, etc.) and we'll work with the supplier on your behalf to resolve it. Specific terms can vary by deal, so we recommend confirming this before purchase on larger orders.
How quickly do you respond to inquiries?
Most inquiries receive a response within one business day. If you reach out outside business hours (Monday–Friday, 9am–5pm EST), we'll respond first thing the next business morning.
Will I work with the same person each time I order?
Yes. NPP assigns a dedicated account contact to buyers, so you're not starting from scratch or re-explaining your sourcing needs every time you reach out. That relationship is part of how we match you to relevant deals faster as we get to know your categories and price points.
